the story christmas storms and sunshine values related commitment and citizenship

In this essay im going to start by telling a summary about the story  then     im going to say how are the values commitment and citizenship related to the story and  what other values that are related to the story and how are they related and the positive and negative aspects and my opinion about the story and what message the autor wants to give us with the story. story is about two men mr hodgson and mr. Jenkins that are compositors of  two different news papers that are always saying bad things about each other so this men happen to live in the same building their wifes have always feel resentment with each other so ms Jenkins resents ms hodgson because she has a baby because she couldn’t have  one ms hodgson resents ms jenkins because she has more money than her. One day ms Jenkins cat went inside of ms hodgson’s house and eats her dinner and she beats him up so this creates hate between them ,  later. Ms hodgsons baby gets sick with a respiratory disease and to save him ms hodgson needed hot water so she goes to ms jenkin’s house to ask for some and ms Jenkins refuses because it was for mr Jenkins dinner and later she realized that her husbands food wasn’t more important than the babysand they work together to help the baby and he gets better at the end of the story they set their differences a side and eat dinner together.  Now im gonna say how are this values related to the story and what are they  the values commitment and citizenship Commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity and citizenship is the position or status of being a citizen of a particular country. we can see commitment in the story in the way ms hodgson takes her of her baby and in the way ms jenkins takes care of her cat.  Other values that are related that are kindness we can see kindness in the way Ms. Jenkins helped Ms. hodgson with her baby after what she did to her cat and everything and we can see citizenship in the story in the way the two families fixed their differences.  Now I am going to talk about the positive and negative aspects that I found the story first I am going to say the negative the negative aspects are bad manners, intolerance, envy and jealousy the positive aspects that I found are family’s happiness and peace. Now I am going to say what is the message the author wants to tell us with the story, the message that the author wants to give us is that we should help others no matter what and that teamwork is really important her intention was also to show us how can hate take us to do things that we don’t mean to or want to and that we should all accept each other and don’t pay attention to the preferences. Now I am going to say what is my opinion about the story my opinion is that we should not feel envy about anything or anyone because if we want to be better than this people or have better things we must work on ourselves and don’t hate others. I think that the story is very related to its title because when it says Christmas because the story takes place in Christmas, when it says storms because this represents the conflicts between the two families and when its says sunshine because it represents the peace that is between the families after they made up.
